The Lismore Candle Company was born out of a simple, personal search for comfort and calm. Life had long been shaped by living with anxiety and depression. After grueling days at work, my home was my safe zone - a quiet retreat where I could decompress and find solace. My favorite way to unwind and create that sense of total comfort was by lighting candles and burning wax melts, filling my space with soothing scents that helped ease my mind.

​Eventually, I asked myself a key question: why not try making them myself? Crafting home fragrances offered a constructive, creative outlet to keep my mind focused and my hands busy. More importantly, it promised a tangible, uplifting reward at the end - a handcrafted product that brought instant warmth and tranquility to my personal sanctuary.

​What began as a therapeutic personal project quickly grew into a true passion for quality home fragrance. As I mastered the craft of hand-pouring soy candles and wax melts, the comforting atmosphere I cultivated in my own home resonated with others seeking the same peaceful escape. Driven by a deep appreciation for the power of scent, warmth, and relaxation, I expanded my creations into the Lismore Candle Company.

By chance stumbled across the Lismore candle company at a recent street festival and I'm so glad I did. I treated myself to wax melts which I love a car air freshener & the cutest teapot tea light burner. As a fan of wax melts these ones are the best I have ever used they smell even when not burned, you can tell the contents are of top quality. I have already popped on to the website to buy more scents and stock up. Kerry the power house behind it was such a pleasure to meet & so helpful and prompt when I queried days after how to get some more. To top it all off all the prices are so reasonable for such quality products. Hate to use the C word but can't wait for festive scents & gifts.
